Agent OS is a local-first operator dashboard for one machine. Hermes and OpenClaw seats, skills, memory on disk, the scheduler, and optional shell or exec only make sense when the process and the files sit together. It reports real CLI presence for Cursor Agent, Claude Code, Codex, and Hermes instead of painting fake connected cards.
Safety is a product decision: unified chat is labeled dry-run, the workspace sandbox is jailed to a dedicated folder, and machine control stays gated. Execution and installs stay off unless the owner flips explicit flags.
Clone the repo and run it on 127.0.0.1:8090. An optional private self-host for the owner can keep that same loopback port. This is not a hosted multi-tenant SaaS, and there is no public Contabo demo.
